    Tomas Soustal (named first star) scored twice and scored in the shootout as the Oil Kings (17-32-7) took the kingdom of the Royals 7-6 in the SO. Davis Murray and Trey Fix-Wolansky (on the PP) both had a goal and an assist, with Brayden Gorda and David Kope adding a goal each. Nick Bowman, Matthew Robertson and Brett Kemp had 2 assists each and Liam Keeler, Kobe Mohr and Carter Souch adding one each. Colton Kehler scored the other shootout goal. Josh Dechaine (W 9-7-4) made 32 saves and stopped 2 of 3 shootout attempts. Shots were 38-27 Victoria. PP was 1/2, PK 5/6. Edmonton won 31 of 71 faceoffs.

    Brett Kemp scored early in the second period, with Matthew Robertson and Connor McDonald (named second star) getting the assists, but the Giants used a magnifying glass to look down on the Oil Kings 2-1. Josh Dechaine (L 9-8-4) made 21 saves. Shots were 31-23 for Edmonton. PP was 0/3, PK 3/4. The OKs won 24 of 47 faceoffs.

    Tomas Soustal (named first star) made his return to Kelowna with the GTG as the Oil Kings were too fuel rich for the Rockets 3-2 in a shootout. Connor McDonald had the other goal while Brett Kemp had an assist. Trey Fix-Wolansky scored on his SO attempt but Colton Kehler was stopped. Todd Scott (W 11-11-4) made 29 saves and stopped all 3 SO attempts. Shots were 31-29 for Kelowna. PP was 1/4, PK 2/2. Edmonton won 30 of 65 faceoffs.

    Kobe Mohr (named second star and Trey Fix-Wolansky (named third star) scored for the Oil Kings but they were shaved by the Blades 3-2 in OT. Jake Neighbors (his first WHL point), Colton Kehler and Connor McDonald had the assists. Todd Scott (named first star) made 18 saves on 20 shots in 47:20 before being pulled for an injury. Josh Dechaine (OTL 9-8-5) played 14:17 and made 2 saves on 3 shots. Shots were 23-15 Saskatoon. PP was 1/5, PK was 4/4. Edmonton on 20 of 52 faceoffs.

    @oilers'72 I just want to say, I really appreciate the updates you put in this thread and the prospects thread. I know I'm not the only one who really enjoys being able to stop into this thread or the prospects thread and quickly see how our junior team or prospects are doing on any given night.

    That Broncos team is terrifying. Anytime I’ve watched them this year the only time the other team gets the puck is when the Broncs want some sport.

    On Friday, the Oil Kings celebrated "Don Cherry Night to Promote Organ Donation presented by RE/MAX" night by over-lubricating the gun chambers of the Hitmen 4-3 in OT. Trey Fix-Wolansky (named first star) had a SH goal and 3 assists. Tomas Soustal, Kobe Mohr (PP) and Colton Kehler (with the GWG on the PP) had the others. David Kope, Matthew Robertson and Connor McDonald added assists. Josh Dechaine (W 10-11-5 and named third third star) made 26 saves, including a penalty shot. Shots were even at 29-29. PP was 2/6, PK was 2/2. Calgary won 37 of 63 faceoffs.

    On Sunday, the Oil Kings (19-38-8) ended their home stand at 1-4 as the Pats went full environmentalist on the Oil Kings 7-4. Kobe Mohr and Trey Fix-Wolansky (PP) both had a goal and an assist. Tomas Soustal (SH) and Matthew Robertson had the other goals. Jayden Platz and Colton Kehler added an assist each. Josh Dechaine (L 10-12-5) made 36 saves. Shots were 43-28 Regina. PP was 1/4 (giving up a SH goal) and the PK was 0/5 (scoring a SH goal). Regina won 44 of 73 faceoffs.
