as Long as Tmac listens to them it will be good
there it is
no press conference? maybe later?
we knew for 3 weeks this was happening--so dump in on friday and deal with it on Tuesday
Better than Buchberger, Smith, Simpson and Huddy
To answer your question from the previous thread, it is a Broncos presser and not an Oilers one.
Nothing new here, been reported for weeks. Hopefully this gives TM more support and ability to adapt in game and make better decisions. Hopefully it gives more voices in the room when things arent going well and allows the coaching staff to make fixes quicker. Hopefully the special teams are much better next year. Hopefully Chiarelli can make some smart, savy moves without a catastrophic bad trade. I hope to be hopeful about the changes next year.
Such hope, much wow.
Press conference for coaching staff outside of head coaching staff changes don’t really happen. I imagine this is all we will hear about it.
On the topic of coaching staff changes, does anyone know if Dustin Schwartz is still our goalie coach going forward? I would have expected something new considering how much the goalies in the ahl and nhl floundered this past season. But I didn’t hear anything on him either way at any point.
Mildly optimistic that this is a positive...
Would take Huddy back in a heartbeat.
It was buried in an article last month that Schwartz is returning.
Definitely my favorite move this whole off season. We can trade, draft, sign whoever but nothing would’ve changed with McLellan at the helm and no back up plan. I love it because these assistants are actually credible and now McLellan won’t feel so secure.
Yeah but if TMac is fired, then which one replaces him.
So Gulutzan and Yawney are from the same small town(Hudson Bay) of 1500 in Saskatchewan?
Broncos live conference at 11. Go to their Facebook page to watch.
Not sure why the link doesn't show or that this format keeps putting "media /media" tags on the link without using the media tag icon.
Potentially none of them. As McKenzie stated this morning, these guys were brought in by TM. They weren't brought in by PC just in case TM struggles again
That whole coming down for the third seems odd.
This is true but it will make it easier to pull trigger on canning TM if the team struggles at start of year.
Yeah, I don't get that either. Seems weird to me. Does any other team do a similar thing?
